Integral University organized a vibrant and inspiring programme titled “Give to Gain” on the occasion of International Women’s Day, celebrating the spirit of empowerment, creativity, and inclusivity.
The event was conducted under the esteemed patronage of the Hon’ble Founder and Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Syed Wasim Akhtar, and the guidance of the Additional Pro-Chancellor, Mr. Syed Adnan Akhtar. The programme was led by Prof. Asma Farooque, Dean, Integral Business School, and Prof. Zeba Nisar, Dean, Faculty of Architecture, Planning & Design.
The celebration was further enriched by the gracious presence of Dr. Intezar Mahdi, Principal, Polytechnic, and Dr. Basir Ahmad, Principal, School of Pharmacy. Faculty members from Integral Business School, the Faculty of Architecture, Planning & Design, Polytechnic, and the School of Pharmacy actively participated and contributed to making the event meaningful and impactful.
Objective of the Event
The primary objective of the programme was to provide a platform for self-expression, appreciation, and creative engagement, while fostering unity and recognizing the invaluable contributions of women across all spheres of life. The theme “Give to Gain” emphasized the importance of giving—through words, art, and actions—as a means to build a stronger and more inclusive community.

A curated exhibition showcased creative works highlighting the strength, resilience, and achievements of women.

She Walk: Empowering Steps:
Participants, dressed in purple, took part in a symbolic walk carrying messages of empowerment and equality, creating a powerful visual expression of solidarity.

Creative Hands:
A hands-on session encouraged artistic expression through activities such as braiding, nail art, face painting, and mehndi.

Open Mic Expression:
Participants delivered heartfelt performances including poetry, personal narratives, and musical presentations centered on women’s empowerment. The session was judged by Ms. Anandi Agarwal (Krishna Metal Industries, Lucknow) and Ms. Naghma Ehtesham (Sanatkada).

Appreciation Wall:
A dedicated space allowed students and faculty to pen messages appreciating and honoring the women who inspire them, fostering a culture of gratitude and recognition.

Slogan Writing Competition:
Faculty and staff from various departments participated by composing original slogans based on the theme “Give to Gain,” showcasing creativity and thoughtful expression.

The seamless execution of the programme was ensured through the dedicated efforts of Ar. Shweta Verma, Dr. Rizwana Atiq, Ms. Anusha Mishra, Dr. Afreen Fatima, Ar. Puja Verma, Ar.
