A one week SDP on “Research Progress and Development Trends in Information Technology” was organized by the Department of Computer Application, Integral University from 8 th November to 12th November, 2021. The main objective of the SDP was to improve Communication Skills required for students specially to communicate in groups and inside classrooms. This program helped students to understand different ways in communication and how to implement it in day to day activities. The University believes in the overall development of the students rather than just imparting technical knowledge. The students are given adequate exposure in sports, research, training (technical, nontechnical and communication) cultural and social activities to make them a complete professional. Companies need talents and not just headcount for the development of the organization. They expect to recruit well-rounded personalities who have skills and behavioral attributes that fit their job requirements. Hence, SDP is designed to balance both physical and mental fitness during the course of study. A total of 244 students from BCA & MCA registered to the SDP. It was a face-to-face offline Group Discussion based event. In the Technical Round, we have conducted a Technical Quiz and shortlisted 45 students for the second round. For the second round sessions, we have created 5 groups with 9 students in each group. In the Group Discussion Rounds, we have conducted GD sessions of all 5 groups and shortlisted 8 students for the final round. In the Final Round, we have conducted Group Discussion session with the shortlisted 8 students. On completion of this session, we have declared the winners of our SDP based on marks obtained in the final round, below are the winner’s detail:

E-Certificate has been awarded to the participants and winners will get some goodies. Congratulations to the winners, we will distribute prize to the winners in the coming departmental mega event. Those who haven’t secured the winning position please don't disappoint at not being the winner. Although you didn't win this time, we have a new contest coming up and we've got our fingers crossed for you… Keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming contest. The SDP was very well coordinated and managed by Mentor, Dr Mohammad Faisal and Coordinators Mr. Farooq Ahmad, Dr. Mohd. Waris Khan, Mr. Malik Shahzad Ahmed Iqbal, Dr. Ausaf Ahmad, Mr. Mohd Faizan, Dr. Asif Khan. The Integral University administration has always been supportive for providing all possible logistic support for organizing such events. The efforts of the organizing committee should also be applauded.
