Integral University, a seat of educational excellence, is a premier university in Lucknow, the capital city of the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It was established under Act Number 9 of 2004 by the State Government. The University is duly approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under sections 2(f) and 12B of the UGC Act, 1956, Medical Council of India, Pharmacy Council of India, Indian Nursing Council, Council of Architecture, Bar Council of India, Indian Association of Physiotherapists, National Council for Teacher Education, UP State Medical Faculty. Integral University is recognised as a Scientific & Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.










NATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND ACCREDITATION COUNCIL

The 2nd zone-wise meeting for North region of the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) with the theme ‘All India Analysis of Accreditation Report’ will be co-hosted by Integral University, Lucknow on 11th April-12 April 2021 at the Central Auditorium of the University. All India Analysis of Accreditation reports are invaluable not only to understand the National-level scenarios of quality assurance in higher education, but also help the State Governments /Departments of collegiate education /universities to plan their future.
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) was established in 1994 as an autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission (UGC) with its Head Quarter in Bengaluru with a vision to make quality the defining element of higher education in India through a combination of self and external quality evaluation, promotion and sustenance initiatives.
Higher educational institutions of the country are expected to contribute to National development by fostering global competencies among the students. Every year NAAC is accrediting hundreds of higher educational institutions and receives huge data related to Assessment and accreditation in the form of Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQARs), Self-Study Reports (SSRs) and Peer Team Reports (PTR).
Prime Agenda of NAAC is to assess and accredit all Higher Education Institutions who volunteers to get Assessment and Accreditation by NAAC, provided they are eligible, as per NAAC rules.
Accreditation plays a critical role in the institutional overall improvement, enhancing its societal image and status. It helps the institution to know its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, challenges and identifies internal areas of planning and resource allocation. Accreditation gives the institution a new sense of direction and identify vrith greater sense of accountability and enhanced credibility.
