Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.

During the month of October 2021, IIMSR hosted a series of career counselling sessions.

The first session for final year MBBS students was held on October 9, 2021, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Dr. Harsh Gupta, an IIMSR alumnus who recently qualified for the NEET PG 2021 with an excellent rank of 6220, led this session.

The second session was held for final year MBBS students on October 11, 2021 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Dr. Ankur Shukla, an IIMSR alumnus who graduated with a rank of 9841 in the NEET PG 2021, led this session.

Dr. Mohammad Suhail Khan began the sessions by introducing and welcoming the speakers, which was followed by an enlightening talk by both speakers. These sessions were organised for the benefit of MBBS students so that they could be better equipped to make more informed and meaningful career decisions. The speakers discussed with our students the various ways in which they could improve their preparation for NEET PG and other competitive exams. Students were also informed about various tools, books, and apps that have made competitive exam preparation easier. Following the talks, there was a question-and-answer session where students could ask their questions.

Dr. Abeer Zubair Khan gave a vote of thanks at the end of the talk, congratulating the speakers on their successful sessions, as well as their high ranks and making their alma mater proud.

Dr. Pooja Jaiswal, Associate Professor (Dept of Ophthalmology), Dr. Rubie Malhotra, Prof. and HOD (Dept of Ophthalmology), Dr. Saurabh Kashyap, Professor (Dept of Community Medicine), Dr. Mohammad Suhail Khan, Associate Professor (Dept. of Community Medicine), and Dr. Abeer Zubair Khan, Associate Professor ( Dept. of Anatomy) coordinated and organised these sessions.
