Fostering Collaboration: MoU Between Integral University and ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked between Integral University and the ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on November 22, 2021, between the Integral University, Lucknow, and the ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources, Lucknow, with the common intention of exploring, extending, and strengthening the functional relationship between the two institutions in order to share the facilities and expertise available in each other's institution.

The signing of this MOU will open new doors of opportunity for Integral University, Lucknow students and ICAR-National Bureau of Fish Genetic Resources Lucknow sponsored candidates, as well as regular in- service scientists and technical staff of the NBFGR for pursuing the Ph.D. degree programme in the subjects of Aquatic Bioresearch/ Fish Physiology/ Fish Pathology/ Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Bioengineering/ Bioinformatics and other allied subjects Integral University, Lucknow, and the NBFGR, Lucknow, will apply for collaborative projects to national and international funding agencies in accordance with the guidelines established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, and other statutory funding agencies. In addition to the regular degree programme, the NBFGR will provide short-term training in their areas of specialisation to Integral University, Lucknow students and faculty.

The MOU was signed in the presence of Prof. S.W. Akhtar, Hon'ble Chancellor and Founder, Integral University, Dr. Kuldeep K Lal, Director, NBGR, Lucknow, Dr. Syed Nadeem Akhtar, Pro-Chancellor, Integral University, Prof. Javed Musarrat, Vice-Chancellor, Integral University, and Dr. Mohammed Haris Siddiqui, Registrar, Integral University, Lucknow.
