The Campus cordially welcomes our newest scholars and family members in Integral University Lucknow.
The 2020 Orientation program was successfully organized by Integral University from 23rd to 25th November,
2020 virtually on University Official YouTube Channel. This is the first time that we are celebrating this
august occasion which is uniquely virtual.
Integral University began this year’s academic session with the first league of orientation on 23rd November
2020 and quality academic counseling to help students embark on this new journey. Integral Campus cordially welcomed
their newest scholars virtually this time into Integral University Lucknow. The program began on November 23, 2020 with
the welcome address by Professor M.A. Khalid, Dean, Students’ Welfare, which was followed by a short film which shows
that how all of us at Integral University have navigated through this difficult year.
Through the short film the newest scholars were given a short tour of the Integral University campus. The virtual ceremony
was necessary because of the pandemic that we are all facing. But, education cannot be compromised, with this thought
in mind; Integral University went forward with the virtual orientation for the new batch of students.
Orientation is the first step in this remarkable journey and attendance is compulsory. During orientation, you will
have the opportunity to meet Senior Officials of the University, interact with students, staff and faculty from diverse
backgrounds who will share with you strategies for successfully adjusting to college life, getting involved on campus and
making good choices. These sessions provide practical and valuable information on our policies, programmes and services
we have in place for healthy environment, education and training for the real world in support of your success. We are
excited to help you create a home away from home, relaxing the parents with the safety and educational accomplishment
of their child.
Following, Prof. Aqil Ahmad, Vice Chancellor (acting) Integral, in his welcome speech to the parents and students,
communicated the importance of hard work, concentration, and discipline in a student’s life.
Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Haris Siddiqui, Director, Directorate of Admissions and Academics, blessed the
students with a bright future and a memorable time during their University stay.
Prof. Tahseen Usmani, Proctor, embraced the audience with the assurance of warmth and considerate administration but
with a No-tolerance policy over any foul or unlawful activities in the campus. He confirmed that the Integral Campus
is strictly a Ragging Free University where seniors and faculties share a great bond and will always lend help.
Dr. Nilanjan Mukherji, Director, CCG&D, Integral University extended his warmth and support to the newcomers and
emphasized the significance of a goal in a student’s life.
Prof. (Dr.) Syed Misbahul Hasan, Provost, took to the stage to welcome all the students to avail the hostel facility,
telling the quality of food being served at hostels and other facilities. He mentioned that the hostels provide 24x7
seamless Wi-Fi connection and the wardens ensure the residents’ safety and other necessities.
Followed by Prof. (Dr.) Iffat Zareen Ahmad, Chairperson, Women Grievance Cell, assured the students that IUL promotes
gender equity among all IU students and employees, and in case the women feel that they are being harassed, WGC has
got their backs.
After the welcome addresses, the melodious University Taraana was played. Following which, the students were introduced
to the IUL website and our own learning management system-ILI by Mrs. Kavita Agarwal, ILI coordinator. ILI has played a
very vital role in helping the students and the teachers for online classes.
The orientation ceremony was concluded by the National Anthem.
