Women are the power and pride at Integral – The University Celebrates Equality, intelligence and Power of Women, this International Women’s Day.

The highlight of the day was a delightful skit by the students to pay a tribute to the victims of Pulwama attack. The soulful, breathtaking performance by them instilled the sense of Pride and gave goosebumps to all and the audience stood up to salute and remember the soldiers.




Integral University celebrated International Women's Day on 11th March 2019 on the theme “Think Equal, Build Smart, Innovate for Change”. The programme was organised by Women's Grievance Cell & Women's Study Centre, Integral . “Women are the power house and pride at Integral” said Prof. Aqil Ahmad, Vice- Chancellor (Acting), who graced the function with Ms. Sutapa Sanyal, former Director General, UP Police as the Chief Guest. Prof. Rooprekha Verma, Ex-Vice Chancellor, University of Lucknow and Mrs. Azra Wasim, Director, Techno Academy, Lucknow the Guests of Honour of the function, gave out powerful messages for the educated, working women in shaping up the new progressed India.

Mrs. Azra Wasim addressed the audience with thought-provoking words about women equality and progress in various fields. “It’s 21st century and today’s woman has successfully achieved the work life balance. She has become smarter to have it all – a euphoric family, a remarkable career and some seclusion to find time for herself” she said.


Prof. Dr. Rooprekha Verma, Founder and Secretary, Saanjhi Duniya, and Ex-Vice Chancellor, Lucknow University spoke about the struggle for women's rights in the economic, social, political, and cultural domain. The chief guest Ms. Sutapa Sanyal, shared her views on gender equality, women empowerment and self improvement. She also spoke about implementing high-quality protocols to improve government response to violence against women and children. Prof. Aqil Ahmad, Vice Chancellor (Acting) also addressed the audience on various woman's concerns. The program was followed by the panel discussion on the theme of the International Women's Day.
