In the midst of advancing biological research and increased technological innovations, Bioinformatics has come forward as a prominent interdisciplinary research area connecting these two extremes. The storage of vast amount of biological data, search and retrieval system along with the in depth solutions & analysis of biological problems has been the major achievement of bioinformatics in the current scientific era. Owing to the need and demands of this discipline, a postgraduate M Tech course in Bioinformatics is currently been offered in the Department of Bioengineering in Evening basis.
The curriculum is choice based credit system and has been designed on the current demands & requirement of research institutions, bioinformatics companies and academic institutions of national and international standards. The Objective of the course is to build strong basic foundation knowledge in bioinformatics, pillared with computational practical assignments hovering sharp intellectual skills and broad vision scientific perception amongst the learning candidates.
Candidates have to be successful in IUET 2026 (Integral University Entrance Test)/ GATE/ State Level Engineering Entrance Exams across India or other Engineering Entrance Examinations for M.Tech Programs conducted by the prominent universities.
Applicants are required to submit the mark sheet of their last qualifying examination as soon as it is issued. The document must be submitted no later than July-end or August, in accordance with University requirements.
