This field seeks to close the gap between engineering and medicine: It combines the design and problem-solving skills of engineering with medical and biological sciences to improve healthcare diagnosis, monitoring, and therapy. The Master of Technology course in Bio-Medical Engineering covers the fields of bioelectronics, biomaterials, biomechanics, bioinformatics, nano-biological sciences, and clinical engineering. Subjects studied under the Master of Technology degree in Bio-Medical Engineering are Applied Mathematics for Electronics Engineers, Biomedical Sensors & Instrumentation Anatomy and Physiology, Bio-Mechanics, and Rehabilitation Engineering.
M. Tech Biochemical Engineering (Evening) is a 3-year post-graduate level engineering course in the Department of Bioengineering for working professionals who want to do enhance their skill and engineering knowledge. This program introduces about the bioreactor processes of monitoring; developing, designing, process development and solving the different issue arise in the field of industrial biotechnology. This PG course is also research oriented in the area of bioprocess technology by enhancing their prior knowledge through advanced courses with a dissertation to show their research potential. The curriculum is a choice based credit system and has been designed on the current demands/requirements of biotechnology industry.
Candidates have to be successful in IUET 2026 (Integral University Entrance Test)/ GATE/ State Level Engineering Entrance Exams across India or other Engineering Entrance Examinations for M.Tech Programs conducted by the prominent universities.
Applicants are required to submit the mark sheet of their last qualifying examination as soon as it is issued. The document must be submitted no later than July-end or August, in accordance with University requirements.
