Inspired by the visionary leadership of our Founder and Hon’ble Chancellor, Prof. S. W. Akhtar, the Department of Commerce was established in 2013 with an initial intake of just 55 students in the B.Com (Hons.) programme. Guided by his commitment to excellence, ethics, and values, the department has witnessed phenomenal growth and now proudly nurtures a thriving community of over 750 students.
