Society looks upon Architects as creators of quality-built environments and promoters of quality of life as well as saviors of humankind from the evils of global warming and climate change. The faculty of architecture & planning focuses on these issues. It has positioned itself with a diverse faculty, including practicing architects, engineers, artists, researchers, and theoreticians. They are deeply committed to the challenges of teaching 21st-century architects.

As a testimony of the above, our students consistently win the Council of Architecture's best Thesis Awards at the National and Zonal levels.

The 100% employability of the students, including the period of recession, is also a testimony of their caliber and usefulness to society and the profession.

Presently, the faculty has both graduate and post-graduate programs in the faculty of architecture & planning, a graduate program in planning, and a research program (Ph.D.).
