The prefix "Integral" of the 'Integral University' per se is the elixir signifying the University's centrality, ethos, and culture with a distinct motto of educational excellence of this seat of wisdom, conquering darkness with scientific knowledge. As the first State Private University with 2(f) and 12 (B) recognition, the University, with a short but inspiring history of 17 years, have created a niche for itself as a harbinger in quality initiatives to promote effective citizens with world-class knowledge, national consciousness, global competencies, social responsibilities, and humane values, through a plethora of 'beyond the curriculum' activities for promoting knowledge that is blended with relevant skills, attitude and values for life long success and wholesome living.

Indeed, the true distinctiveness of the Integral University lies in the integration of its secular and nationalistic character with quality education, creative and high-order thinking, and moral values aligned with the vision and mission of the institution for the advantage of the individuals, community, society, and the nation. Integrated yet decentralized school-based leadership and governance for K-12 education to children for a better future.

Integrated K-12 and higher education and research under one Umbrella is a rare and distinctive feature of the Integral University. The facility is primarily for children from underprivileged and educationally backward areas belonging to lower socio-economic strata, who are provided access to primary and secondary education from Class I to V and Class VI to XII at the Techno Academic School and Integral International school, respectively. Currently, more than 40 qualified teachers are imparting quality education to 640 students from all across the city of Lucknow, mostly from nearby rural settings, in the serene and beautiful campuses equipped with science laboratories, a library, computer labs, spacious classrooms, sports, and other physical fitness facilities. The transformative multi-faceted learning ecosystem at Integral University is primarily embedded in its vision of creating a "Distinctive environment of multidisciplinary education with excellence, humane values, and social responsibility" through a plethora of 'beyond the curriculum' activities for promoting knowledge that is blended with the right skills, attitude and values for life long success and wholesome living. The distinctiveness stems from the fact that the Integral Institute of Technology, as a precursor of the Integral University, was established in 1998 as the first private minority college of Engineering & Technology in the State of Uttar Pradesh offering courses in Computer Science Engineering and Electronics Engineering to nurture talent and build competencies and confidence among students who do not have access to or cannot afford technical education.

The college transformed into Engineering & Information Technology faculty with the addition of disciplines. Architecture, Electrical & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Bioengineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Computer Applications provide an array of subject specializations both in UG and PG Programs and Research and prepare qualified and technically competent engineers and technocrats ready to face challenges in the context of industrial revolution 4.0 and rapidly changing digital world. Integration of accessible, affordable, and best-in-class health and wellness services with university stakeholders and community service

Integral University has the rare distinction of having its own medical college named Integral Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, with a tertiary care 810 bedded hospital with best-in-class teaching to UG/PG students of medical and paramedical students, as well as healthcare facilities and wellness initiatives for stakeholders including staff, students, faculty, neighborhood, and the community at large. Providing free medical consultation, free primary healthcare services at the rural and urban healthcare centers of IIMS&R, free medicines to IPD/OPD patients, discounts on clinical/pathological tests, free food to registered patients, Free vaccination drives for the community in rural settings and substantial monetary discounts on medical treatments, diagnostic tests, and hospital services to students and staff in the IIMS&R, 24 x 7 Emergency & Trauma, Critical care and Blood bank services for all and Gymnasium & Yoga facilities and nutrition clinic, counseling cells for quitting smoking, and drug deaddiction as a wellness package for stakeholders of Integral University.

The IIMSR (Integral University) was at the forefront of combating COVID-19, and the UP government designated Level-III COVID-19 hospital. Treated around 2500 patients during the last three pandemic waves, installed a 350 LMP PSA oxygen generation plant, and a 2000 liter capacity liquid oxygen storage plant from its own resources to meet medical exigencies. Integration of the local women folks with a skill development program for socio-economic empowerment.

The Integral University Department of Agriculture actively engages women folks from adjoining adopted villages and trains them in organic farming, mushroom cultivation, and modern farming techniques to improve the quality and output of their produce. Conduct awareness drives on toxic weed eradication, crop production, livestock health issues, sanitization, hygiene, vaccination, environment, legal aid clinics, and general problems they face and educate them about different Govt. policies.
