The Alumni Welfare Association of Integral University (AWAIU) in association with the Department of Bio-Engineering, Bio-Sciences and Environment Science organized an Alumni Talk on the topic “Sustainable Living -Impact of Chemicals in our daily life” by our Alumnus, Er. Faiz Siddiqui (B.Tech. Biotechnology, 2006-10); co-founder of “Mitti Se” on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, in Conference Hall-01, Near Central Auditorium from 02:00 pm.
Our Alumnus, Er. Faiz Siddiqui is an entrepreneur in the true sense and not a boundless ruthless businessman. He takes up a problem from society and tries to come up with a solution and then sells that solution. Er. Faiz Siddiqui motivated the students by sharing his experiences and relating them to his own experiences. He made the students realize that a strong passion and determination to do good is the secret to being successful. He also enlightened the audience about the difference between the world of synthetic and natural, harmful and beneficial chemicals around us. He also exposed the reality and grades of herbal commodities that we use in our daily life. During the event, Er. Faiz Siddiqui asked a few questions and distributed gift hampers to the audience. He also distributed a gift sample of one of his products to all the faculty and students present there. He inspired the audience to be truthful and to think about protecting the world and its resources, in all terms.
The alumni talk began with the welcome address by Er. Soban Ahmad Faridi, Assistant Professor, Department of Bioengineering, introduced the alumnus to the audience. Our alumnus, Er. Faiz Siddiqui brought a small token of love for his teacher and the head of department Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Haris Siddiqui. Before the alumni talk began, the Head of the Department of Bioengineering praised the alumnus. He encouraged the students to become like him and make the University proud. The program come to a close with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Asfa Khan Student of B.A. (Hons.) English. Later, the certificate of appreciation was presented to Er. Faiz Siddiqui by Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Haris Siddiqui.
