An offline Group Discussion (GD) was organized by the Department of Languages on 26th February, 2021 from 1 PM to 2 PM in NLT-20. The topic for the Group Discussion was "Are Men and Women Equal in Different Realms of Life?" Students raised various questions on stereotyping of women and her predefined roles by patriarchal society since ages. They also questioned the unequal treatment of men and women in various spheres of life from birth to career choices and the like. The discussion concluded on the note that giving equal opportunities for both personal and professional growth to men and women would help in building a better society.
