MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN INTEGRAL UNIVERSITY & CSIR-NATIONAL BOTANICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE (CSIR-NBRI)

Greetings from MoU Coordination Cell.
We are happy to share that CSIR-NBRI (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - National Botanical Research Institute) and Integral University Lucknow (IU) have officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a three-year duration on 13th December, 2023. This historic collaboration, marked by the signing ceremony at Integral University Lucknow, was attended by prominent figures, including Prof. Syed Waseem Akhtar, Chancellor IU; Dr. Syed Nadeem Akhtar, Pro-Chancellor IU; Syed M. Fauzan Akhtar, Executive Director Integral Institute of Medical Sciences, and Deans and Directors from various faculties. Prof. M. Haris Siddiqui, Registrar IU and Dr Manish S Bhoyar, senior scientist NBRI-CSIR were the witnesses.
Recognizing the paramount importance of a robust connection between national laboratories and universities in the realm of research and academic endeavors, this strategic alliance aims to bridge the gap and enhance synergy between the scientific community and the academic sphere.
Dr. Ajit Kumar Shasany, Director at CSIR-NBRI, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "This collaboration signifies a commitment to advancing scientific research and academic excellence. By pooling our resources and expertise, we aim to make significant strides in addressing key challenges and contributing to the scientific knowledge base."
Prof. Javed Musarrat, Vice Chancellor at Integral University, shared, "This MoU opens new avenues for our students to engage in cutting-edge research and benefit from the wealth of knowledge present at CSIR-NBRI. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration that will undoubtedly elevate the academic and research landscape."
Over the next three years, CSIR-NBRI and Integral University Lucknow will work closely to implement joint research projects, organize scientific conferences, and facilitate faculty and student exchanges. The partnership is expected to yield valuable contributions to scientific advancements and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
