The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Integral University held an online One Week National Webinar on the theme of "Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things (I4IoT)" from July 26 to 30, 2021. 448 participants from different regions of India and abroad participated in this event. Among them, a total of 8 participants had international affiliations.
The Webinar was organized under the patronage of Prof. S. W. Akhtar, Founder & Chancellor, Integral University, and Prof. Javed Musarrat, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor. The conveners of the webinar are Dr. Syed Hasan Saeed, Professor & Head of the Department of Electronic and Communication Engineering, and Prof. N.R. Kidwai, Dy. Director of IQAC, Integral University. The agenda of this webinar focuses on interconnectivity, automation, machine learning, and real-time data. Industry 4.0, sometimes referred to as IIoT or smart manufacturing, is the integration of physical production and operations with smart digital technology, machine learning, and big data, creating more comprehensive and interconnected ecosystem management for companies focusing on manufacturing and supply chains.

The Webinar Series was inaugurated Live through the official YouTube Channel of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering on 26th July 2021 wherein the session was conducted by Dr. Imran Ullah Khan with the welcome address to the Resource Person for the Day, Mr. Rohit Sharma who has highlighted the importance of the theme and how the world has changed around us with various IoT technologies. The highlight of this webinar series was Dr. Shabana Mehfuz, Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia who discussed the issues and challenges in Cloud Security.
A valedictory session was conducted on 30th July 2021 and the session was chaired by Dr. Imran Ullah Khan and Dr. Piyush Charan in which the Webinar was concluded with the Vote of Thanks and the certificate to the participants were released through email.
