A 5 Days online Crash Course for NATA Entrance Test was conducted by the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Integral University Lucknow from 10th lune 2020 to 14th June 2020. The course was accomplished under the patronage of Dr.Syed Nadeem Akhtar, Pro-Chancellor,Integral University. National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is a national level entrance exam conducted for candidates seeking admission to undergraduate programmes in Architecture (5-year B.Arch). NATA exam is conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA).
Due to lockdown and pandemic, most of the aspiring students, appearing for entrance exams, went into a predicament. They couldn't avail coaching classes for their preparations. As for aspirants they have to practice their measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability which is often not a part of their school academic curriculum. Hence, the team conceived the idea of starting an online crash course for the group and geared them up for the NATA Entrance test. In a short span of a week, the notice was circulated and received a colossal response in registration. The willingness to learn from the students belonging to different parts of the Country amplified our efforts and interest in making this course a success.
The course was inaugurated by the undersigned. Students were induced with the crash course structure and briefed about the activities conducted and life of architecture students. The Departmental magazine was also introduced for better perception. Prof. Zeba Nisar, Ar. Somi Sareen, Ar.Farhat Zia, Ar.Safa Seraj and Ar. Anas Jameel, initiated and prepared a précised and informative structure for the course. During these 5 days, intensive online lectures were conducted by the faculties followed by a time-bound mock test for evaluating their comprehension. Faculties extracted significant learning material and prepared them into notes so that students may benefit from it in the exam. It is also worth mentioning that the team effectively completed a methodical and rigorous course. The success of any program, event or course can be measured by the fact if the participants are yearning for more. The same can be vetted by the repeated request for the extension of the sessions as it helped them in their preparation. The participants are accorded with an e-certificate at the end of the course.

We appreciate everything that they have done over the past several days. The endless hours that they have spent in structuring and conducting this course, and the professionalism that they have shown has motivated the entire faculty immensely.
