Master of Technology in Food Technology is a two year Program and was started at Integral University in the year 2018. While a bachelor's degree is sufficient to work as a food technologist, a master’s degree gives candidates the required competitive edge. A master's degree in Food Technology is more important for those who intend to build their career in the field of research and development. Students in this course study the physical, microbiological, and chemical makeup of food to determine and make sure the quality and properties of foods including the nutritive value, flavour, palatability, colour, texture, and storage life of food. Food technologists apply the knowledge gained to design and manage the facilities and equipment involved in the processing and storage of foods. The training also includes a thorough know how of developing innovative solutions for developing resilient food systems and processes. This course comprise of the comprehensive course and laboratory work which is sufficient for qualifying for the teaching and research positions at higher levels of education and research all around the world.


Eligibilty

  • Passed B.Tech / M.Sc. (Food / Biotech / Dairy / Agriculture / Chemical / Mechanical / Food Science / Chemistry / biochemistry) / B.Pharm. with at least 55% marks.

Admission Procedure

  • Candidates have to be successful in IUET 2024 (Integral University Entrance Test)/ GATE/ State Level Engineering Entrance Exams across India or other Engineering Entrance Examinations for M.Tech Programs conducted by the prominent universities.

Important Note

  • Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying exam in the current year and have applied for admission in any UG/PG program of this University should submit the Marks Sheet of the qualifying examination latest by July/Aug of the same year.
