About the workshop- This is a part of a series of workshops, designed to introduce teachers to Research-based Pedagogical Tools (RBPTs) that focuses on process of science rather than information and help students develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. The workshops also give teachers a platform to network with peers and to get information on funding opportunities. The participants trained in previous national-level workshops by a team of experts from UK will be trainers in this workshop. Teachers from all science disciplines, teaching UG or PG level courses in Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas can participate.

Eligibility- Teachers with at least a master’s degree and 2 years of teaching experience, currently teaching undergraduate / postgraduate courses in basic sciences. The final selection will be through a committee constituted by representatives from organizers and lead trainers. The committee will select ~50 teachers from the registrations and nominations received.

Registration Fees- Registration is free of cost i.e. No fees required for registration. There are no charges to the participants selected for this workshop that includes accommodation, food and conference material. Travelling Allowance will be given to selected participants with a certain CAP and at actuals.
