“Scientific Plotting in Python”
Scientific visuals can be essential for analyzing data, communicating experimental results and even for making surprising discoveries. Visualizations can reveal patterns, trends and connections in data that are difficult or impossible to find any other way. Plotting the data allows us to see the underlying structure of the data that wouldn’t be otherwise possible. Plotting data has been one of the most important things in the scientific community in presentation, journals, conferences etc.
In order to enhance the skill of extraordinary plotting, the Department of Civil Engineering, is organizing a three weeks Professional Development Program on “Scientific Plotting in Python” from 12th April, 2023.
Python is an interpreted, object-oriented, high-level programming language with dynamic semantics. Python can be considered beginner-friendly, as it is a programming language that prioritizes readability, making it easier to understand and use. Its syntax has similarities with the English language, making it easy for novice programmers to leap into the world of development. The Python interpreter and the extensive standard library are available in source or binary form without charge for all major platforms, and can be freely distributed.
