The Department of Environmental Science In Collaboration with Re Sustainability (Waste Management Company) and Sawen Consultancy Organizing One Week Quality Improvement Program (QIP) cum Workshop on “Urban Waste: Challenges, Mitigation & Management”. This program will be conducted in Hybrid mode from 17 September 2025 to 24 September 2025.

The event is aligned with SDG 3: Good health & wellbeing, SDG 4: Quality education, SDG 6- Clean Water and Sanitation, SDG 8: Decent workplace and economic growth, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, SDG 12: Responsible consumption and production.

Key Highlights:

  • Hands on Training on waste management Machineries: Material Recovering Facility (MRF), Portable Compactor Transfer Station (PCTS), Mechanical Sweeping Machine (MSM), etc. Video of the hands-on training would be share with the online participants.
  • Hands on training on the Scientific operation and Quality Control of STP
  • Visit to the understanding the restructuring of landfill into cleaner urban space.
