CAUSALITY ASSESSMENT COMMITTEE (CAC)

ADVERSE DRUG MONITORING CENTRE (AMC) INTEGRAL UNIVERSITY, LUCKNOW

In compliance with the office order of Indian Pharmacopoeia Commissiom (IPC), a Causality Assessment Committee (CAC) of Adverse Drug Monitoring Centre (AMC), at Integral University, Lucknow is constituted to establish causal relationship between adverse events and Drugs of reported cases. The CAC evaluates the Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR) report, makes recommendations and reports the ADR through web-based application called Vigiflow. After the causality assessment, coordinator and technical associate shall be responsible to submit the report to National Coordination Center for Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (NCC-PvPI).
