It is said that “Photography is by nature a documentary art”. Thus in order to embrace this art form as part of students’ personality development and evoke their interest to explore various aspects of visionary imaginations, a photography competition was held in the Department of Agriculture, Integral Institute of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology (IIAST) on 21/02/2023 at 01:30 PM.

Three themes were integrated in this competition which was 1. Glimpses of IIAST farms, 2. Progressive Agriculture, and 3. Farmers: a peek into their lives. All the three themes were congruent with the academic curricula and the participants have displayed a meticulous level of aesthetics. A total of 16 participants presented their photographs in the format of powerpoint presentation with 10 slides each. The students, coordinators and judges were astounded with the clicks.
