INTRODUCTION
The Department of Computer Application, in collaboration with the Alumni Welfare Association of Integral University (AWAIU), organized an Alumni Meet on 25th March, 2026, at 01:00 PM in Hall-2, Central Auditorium.
The event aimed to reconnect alumni with their alma mater, strengthen institutional relationships, and provide a platform for interaction between alumni and current students. It also focused on promoting knowledge sharing, career guidance, and professional networking.

PROCEEDINGS OF THE EVENT
The event commenced with an introduction by Ms. Saima Kidwai, a final-year MCA student, who welcomed the alumni and highlighted the importance of alumni engagement for students.
Mr. Faizan Mahmood, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Application and Convenor (Departmental Alumni Relation Committee-DARC), delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the Alumni Meet – 2026 and formally welcoming all alumni and attendees.
This was followed by an address by Prof. Mohammad Faisal, Head of the Department, who shared insights into the mentor-student relationship and emphasized the importance of alumni contributions in bridging the gap between academia and industry. He also highlighted departmental achievements and encouraged alumni to stay connected with the institution.
The alumni shared their professional journeys, experiences, and valuable insights with the students. Key highlights include:
Mr. Adnan Siddiqui emphasized the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence tools in the IT industry and highlighted the need for rapid skill acquisition and strong problem-identification abilities. He also offered guidance to students in project development.
Mr. Maaz Khan shared his entrepreneurial journey, discussing the challenges and experiences involved in establishing his own company.
Mr. Hassan Sheikh discussed his career growth, skill development, and decision-making process in choosing the right career path.
Mr. Naim Uddeen highlighted the challenges of building a startup and discussed the advantages and limitations of AI, stressing the importance of mastering core skills before relying on AI tools.
Mr. Saurabh Verma, who joined the session online from abroad, emphasized the importance of strong fundamentals and continuous upskilling, especially in emerging technologies like AI.
Mr. Sayed Asad Jamal shared his journey from a fresher to an experienced IT professional, emphasizing dedication and consistent effort.
Mr. Shariq Shareef discussed his initial experiences as a fresher and his exposure to startup culture, highlighting personal and professional growth.
Syed Mohammad Ibrahim encouraged students to pursue certifications and continuous learning while offering mentorship and support.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Abida Khanam, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Application and Member Secretary (DARC), who expressed gratitude to the Head of Department, alumni, organizing team, faculty members, and students for their contributions to the success of the event. Mementos were presented to the alumni as a token of appreciation by Dr. Halima Sadia, Vice President (AWAIU), and Dr. Tasneem Ahmed, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Application.

STUDENT PARTICIPATION
The Alumni Meet witnessed enthusiastic participation from final-year and pre-final-year students. Interactive sessions, including Q&A discussions, were conducted, allowing students to directly engage with alumni and gain practical insights into industry expectations and career planning.

CONCLUSION REMARK
The Alumni Meet – 2026 was a successful and enriching event that strengthened the relationship between alumni and the institution. The valuable insights shared by the alumni proved highly beneficial for students, guiding them towards better career planning and professional development. The Department looks forward to organizing such events in the future to maintain strong alumni engagement.
