Bridging Academia and Industry: CSE Students Visit HCLTech, Lucknow

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Integral University, Lucknow, successfully organized an industrial visit to HCLTech, Lucknow, on February 02, 2026. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the corporate IT environment, familiarize them with emerging industry trends, and enhance their understanding of professional expectations in the rapidly evolving technology sector.

A total of 247 students participated in the visit under the guidance of faculty members, making it a highly engaging and informative learning experience.

Programme Highlights

The visit commenced with a warm welcome by the officials of HCLTech, who presented an overview of the organization, its global presence, and its significant contributions to the IT industry. Students were introduced to corporate work culture, operational frameworks, and professional standards followed in real-world IT environments.

An interactive session conducted by industry professionals provided valuable insights into current hiring trends and essential skills required in the IT sector. Key domains highlighted included Software Development, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and Data-Driven Technologies. Students were guided on preparation strategies for internships, certifications, and technical assessments, along with the importance of soft skills, communication, and professional ethics.

The visit also featured dedicated sessions on Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, where students were introduced to real-world applications and practical use cases.
