The DAAD is the world’s largest funding organization for the international exchange of students and researchers. RISE Worldwide is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. This internship program collaborates with research institutions across the world to offer a full scholarship to undergraduate students to do a research internship in the field of Science and Engineering across the world.
In the current session, one undergraduate student Ms. Emilly Zoë Jeanne Sidaine Daumiller studying Cognitive Science at the University of Osnabrück in Germany has completed a research project titled Development of Innovative Chat-Voice-Bot For Admission And Career Counselling at Advanced Computing Research Lab, Department of Computer Application, Integral University as a research intern under DAAD RISE worldwide research internship program. The internship period was from the 1st of August 2022 till the 7th of October 2022. She was successful in developing an innovative Chat-Voice-Bot using Natural Language Processing, Artificial Neural Networks, and Machine Learning. She has worked on this project under the supervision of Ms. Nashra Javed (Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Application) and Dr. Tasneem Ahmed (Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Application). The project mainly focused on the development of an innovative Chat-Voice-Bot for admission and career counselling, that can provide virtual assistance to any admission aspirant. Chatbots can be a crucial asset of a University’s appearance on the internet that delivers automated query responses 24x7. Our developed Chat-Voice-Bot is proof of choosing an approach that combines Deep Learning and rule-based Chatbot implementation with congenial counselling experience, resulting in a product that can be highly beneficial for students, parents, and the University.
