The Department of Environmental Science, Integral University, Lucknow, organized a guest lecture on 21 January 2026 titled “NSFE’s Financial & Investment Awareness Programs for Girl Students.” The session was delivered by Ms. Anuradha Gupta and was followed by Dr. Nimisha Singh. The programme was conducted in alignment with the National Strategy for Financial Education (NSFE) of the Government of India and Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG-5): Gender Equality.
The objective of the programme was to enhance financial literacy among girl students by strengthening their understanding of financial systems, savings, investment avenues, and risk management. The session aimed to promote economic empowerment, responsible financial decision-making, and long-term financial confidence among female participants. By focusing specifically on girl students, the initiative contributed significantly towards bridging gender gaps in financial awareness and promoting inclusive financial education.
The programme was organized under the guidance of the Dean,Students'Welfare, Prof. Monowar Alam Khalid. The organizers express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Ambrina Sardar, Head, Department of Environmental Science, for her valuable guidance and continuous support, which played a pivotal role in the successful conduct of the event.
The programme witnessed the participation of 50 attendees, including faculty members, staff, and students. The event was efficiently coordinated by Dr. Amina Jafri and Dr. Shweta Yadav, Assistant Professors, Department of Environmental Science, Integral University, Lucknow.
