LITERARY COMMITTEE

Role and Responsibilities of the Literary Committee

The literary committee is the backbone of the academic and literary development of the students. It works to inculcate literary skills with the objectives to boost literary skills and bring to light hidden and veiled talent among the students. It organizes various literary events providing a podium for the students to come up with their suppressed skills. It attempts to advance an unrestrained and strong platform to improve the overall development of the students. The committee provides opportunities for students to express themselves very confidently.

Objectives of the Literary Committee: -

  1. To organize competitions for literary events like Debates, Elocution, Extempore, Poetry Writing, Essay Writing, JAM, Group Discussions, etc.
  2. Organize inter and intra-literary events at the university.
  3. To encourage students to participate in literary events outside of the university.
  4. To encourage students to make literary contributions on various platforms associated with literature through articles, poetry, and other write-ups.
  5. Display newspaper clippings and thoughts for the day on the bulletin board.
  6. To encourage the students to attend literary events like Kavi Sammelan, Mushaira, etc. to cultivate inclinations toward literature.
