The United Nations General Assembly’s 17 Goals for Sustainable Development (SDG’s) provide priorities to work towards the well-being of the Earth and its people. Integral University understands the importance and urgent nature of SDG’s and is committed to contribute in achievement of SDGs. The commitment towards SDGs is reflected through the work done within academic departments, and other units of the university. Progress reports of SDG 17 is as follows.

By integrating comparative research and global cooperation, the University continues to contribute significantly to the creation and dissemination of sustainable solutions and best practices that advance the SDG agenda worldwide.

International collaboration data gathering for SDG

Integral University, Lucknow, is actively engaged in international collaborations focused on data collection, evaluation, and analysis to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through a combination of research partnerships, academic exchange programs, and data-driven projects, the University contributes to global efforts aimed at monitoring SDG progress and shaping evidence-based sustainable development policies. During the academic session 2023-24, Integral University established six notable international collaborations with the Institute of Microbiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (Thailand), Oriental University (Uzbekistan), Research Institute of Plant Genetics (Uzbekistan), Yobe State Government (Nigeria), and the University of Public Services, Ludovika (Hungary). These partnerships have strengthened the University’s global research network and enhanced its role in generating and utilizing reliable data to drive sustainable and inclusive development.

Collaboration with NGOs for SDGs

: Integral University, Lucknow, actively collaborates with a range of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and community-based institutions to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through education, research, and social outreach. Alliance for Economic and Educational Development of the Underprivileged (AEEDU)

Integral University has collaborated with AEEDU to organize a national conference on education and development for the underprivileged.

Wadhwani Foundation

Integral University has collaborated with the Wadhwani Foundation to offer the Wadhwani Liftoff program, which helps early-stage ventures develop a value proposition and business model.

Nawazish and Shifa Social Clubs

Integral University's Social Service Committee has collaborated with these clubs to organize a donation drive.

Madad Karo Na

Integral University alumni have collaborated with Madad Karo Na to distribute food and medical kits to those in need.

Manavodaya

Integral University has collaborated with Manavodaya, a Lucknow-based NGO that provides basic education to girls and the needy. Integral University has also established the Legal Aid Society to address the issue of access to justice for the poor, oppressed, and exploited

Sustainability Literacy

University, Lucknow, demonstrates a strong commitment to Sustainability Literacy by continuously assessing and enhancing awareness, knowledge, and practices related to sustainability across the campus. In alignment with international standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14000, the University regularly conducts internal and external audits and gap assessments every six months to evaluate compliance and identify areas for improvement. Annual and biannual energy audits further help in monitoring and optimizing resource utilization. The insights gained from these evaluations are compiled into comprehensive sustainability reports, highlighting achievements, ongoing initiatives, and strategies for future enhancement.
