The United Nations General Assembly’s 17 Goals for Sustainable Development (SDG’s) provide priorities to work towards the well-being of the Earth and its people. Integral University understands the importance and urgent nature of SDG’s and is committed to contribute in achievement of SDGs. Relationships with regional NGOs and government for SDG policy
In addition to bringing together innovative and inquisitive minds from around the globe, Integral University seeks to develop global leaders for change and to bring out the
best in both individuals and others. We believe that more than just deliberation is required, so we go out into the world and
take initiative, changing the world and people's lives one edition at a time. For this reason, we have been involved in a variety of activities such as Event Social Responsibilities, from donation drives to awareness camps, we are doing our part for society, plantation drives, hygiene awareness, and much more.
Cross sectoral dialogue about SDGs
Integral University is a key player in fostering cross-sectoral discussion on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN. IU offered workshops centered on promoting social impact, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development through strategic partnerships with governmental organizations, non-profits, and business executives. Various conferences focused on the SDG are having sessions which were carefully planned to engage young minds, highlight new issues, and offer practical insights in line with different SDG targets. Leading figures and experts from a range of disciplines shared their knowledge, involving a broad audience in conversations that highlighted the resilience, entrepreneurship, creativity, and transformative potential of young people.
Collaboration for SDG best practice
Using global cooperation and research, evaluate comparative methods, and create global best practices for addressing the SDGs. Leading the way in global cooperation and research is the Integral University. With collaborations that span more than 100+ organisations and universities worldwide, IU actively promotes professor and student academic exchanges, leading to significant collaborative research initiatives. Research on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has benefited greatly from Integral University contributions. In order to address important issues including climate change, renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, healthcare, and education, the university has established specialised research centres and institutes.
International collaboration data gathering for SDG
Indeed, Integral University is actively involved in global partnerships aimed at collecting, evaluating, and interpreting data for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). IU supports the global endeavour to monitor the SDGs' progress and guarantee that data-driven solutions guide sustainable development policies through a mix of research collaborations, data gathering projects, and academic exchange programs. Six international collaborations have been done in the session 2022-23:

- King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Thailand
- Oriental University, Uzbekistan
- Research Institute of Plant Genetics, Uzbekistan
- Yobe State Government, Nigeria
- University of Public Services, Ludovika, Hungary
Collaboration with NGOs for SDGs
Work together with NGOs to address the SDGs by developing instructional materials, conducting research, or organising student volunteer programs. Integral University in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh has collaborated with several NGOs and organizations, including:
- AEEDU: Integral University has collaborated with AEEDU to organize a national conference on education and development for the underprivileged.
- Wadhwani Foundation: Integral University has collaborated with the Wadhwani Foundation to offer the Wadhwani Liftoff program, which helps early-stage ventures develop a value proposition and business model.
- Nawazish and Shifa Social Clubs: Integral University's Social Service Committee has collaborated with these clubs to organize a donation drive.
- Madad Karo Na: Integral University alumni have collaborated with Madad Karo Na to distribute food and medical kits to those in need.
- Manavodaya: Integral University has collaborated with Manavodaya, a Lucknow-based NGO that provides basic education to girls and the needy. Integral University has also established the Legal Aid Society to address the issue of access to justice for the poor, oppressed, and exploited.

Education for SDGs: specific courses on sustainability
- Master of Technology in Environmental Engineering: A two-year postgraduate program that aims to reduce the negative effects of human activities on the environment.
- Solar Development Group: Established to reduce the university's reliance on conventional power by adopting solar photovoltaic technology.
- Sustainability Initiative: Focuses on initiatives such as gender equity, environmental consciousness, water conservation, waste management, and energy conservation.
- Other initiatives: Includes green campus initiatives, disabled friendly environment, social responsibility and harmony, effective citizenship, and code of conduct.
Education for SDGs in the wider community
Through targeted outreach educational initiatives, Integral University has implemented Education for SDGs in the broader community, which may include locals, displaced individuals, and alumni.
Sustainability Literacy
As part of its continuous quality assurance and compliance efforts, Integral University is dedicated to evaluating sustainability literacy and knowledge. In accordance with international standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14000 etc, our organisation regularly evaluates sustainability practices and awareness. To pinpoint opportunities for development and adherence to sustainability standards, IU specifically performs gap assessments and audits both internally and externally every six months. In order to track and maximise energy use, energy audits are also carried out both internally and externally every year and every six months. The information acquired from these evaluations aids in the creation of sustainability reports, which offer a methodical summary of IU's sustainability programs and potential improvement areas. This pledge demonstrates IU's commitment to encouraging sustainable behaviours and raising environmental awareness among our faculty.
